🍎 Step-by-step: install on iPhone or iPad

On iPhone you install the app straight from Safari — there's no file to download (Apple doesn't allow app-file installs like Android does). This still gives you a real full-screen app with its own home-screen icon.

  1. Open seastackbook.com/app in Safari — it must be Safari (Chrome or other browsers on iPhone can't add to the Home Screen).
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an up-arrow, at the bottom of the screen (top-right on iPad).
  3. Scroll down the share list and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add (top-right). The Seastack icon lands on your Home Screen.
  5. Open it from that icon — it runs full-screen like any app, and you sign in once.

ℹ️ This is the iPhone app today — it works offline and updates itself automatically. A dedicated App Store version is on the way.

🤖 Step-by-step: install the .apk on an Android phone
  1. Tap Download Android app (.apk) above — the file seastack-android.apk saves to your phone (you'll see it in the notification bar or your Downloads folder).
  2. Open your Downloads (or tap the download notification) and tap seastack-android.apk.
  3. First time only: if Android says it can't install "unknown apps" from this source, tap Settings → switch on Allow from this source, then tap ← Back.
  4. Tap Install, wait a few seconds.
  5. If Play Protect warns "app not commonly downloaded," tap More details → Install anyway — it's your own app, signed by Seastack.
  6. Tap Open, sign in, and you're set — it appears as Seastack (Direct) on your home screen.

🔄 Updates are automatic — the app always loads the latest Seastack, so you don't reinstall for new features. Replacing an older sideloaded copy? Uninstall it first, then install this one.

On the tools? Your field crew installs it the exact same way — open seastackbook.com/app and sign in as a worker to get the time-clock, tasks and safety sign-offs on their own phone.
