About

Built by a trades shop, for trades shops

Seastack didn't come out of an accounting firm. It came out of a working contractor — and the co-founder who was tired of watching the profit leak out through crumpled receipts, lost hours and unsigned change orders.

Why we built it

One app instead of four tabs

For over a decade, our co-founder Benneth ran plumbing and mechanical installations on active commercial jobsites across British Columbia. He was a master of the trade — but the business ran on a time-tracker for the crew, one app for invoices, another for estimates, and a truck dashboard full of crumpled receipts and unsigned change orders. Nothing talked to each other, and Sunday nights vanished into copying numbers between them.

His wife and co-founder — a management & economics graduate with a sharp head for the numbers and the financial side of the business — watched him lose weekend after weekend to that admin nightmare, looked at the clunky "systems" the whole industry runs on, and said enough. Together they built Seastack to do the whole job in one place: clock the crew in by GPS, turn their hours into tax-ready invoices, send estimates customers approve online, and keep the books clean automatically. It worked for their shop, so they opened it up for every crew that was done juggling tools.

What we stand for

How Seastack works

🔧

Made for the field

Built for crews, jobsites, and owners who are on a roof or under a sink — not sitting at a desk in accounting software all day.

💬

No jargon

Plain language and a clean interface. If you can text, you can run your invoicing and your books in Seastack.

🔒

Your data, locked down

Every business's data is isolated at the database level. Your crew sees only what they should, and your numbers stay yours.
